today was actually really fun, even if it was tiring. every day i have is tiring, so i'm pretty used to coming home drained now (T T)
anywayzz here's what happened today!! in first block i just did math which was great and really just a superb start to my day, which EBlow said must be rough, but I think it's great to have my fave subject first thing every morning. not much really happens in there, and i like that :D
flex was fun- i went to peggy with stelly but she DITCHED ME to go walk with AX and ZR (i shouldn't have been surprised) so I hung out with tippy and we went to mummy's room and helped cut out masks for the mardi gras party. i also got to see VV because she was doing her preassessment and she kept trying to get me to help her BUT i was a truthful trudy and only gave her one hint about science de la vie or whatever and what it meant (i was like "think vie as in c'est la vie!" cuz c'est la vie means such is life (pretty much), so like vie - vie?? connecting dots? idek. anyways WC was in peggy so it was nice to escape having to be in there with him ig (T T)
2nd block was actually pretty fun!! we got split into groups and then had to choose partners to work on this math packet together and i got to work with ally and maya joined us as well. we sat with JT and this other random guy who knew my name?? idk who he is but i guess he'd overheard ally saying my name or smth. JT told ally about TC's latest escapades, such as stealing from sheetz and (supposedly) going to juvie. at least i think it was about TC? i'm not entirely sure lolz
also, JT has a FLIPPING TATTOO?? we're literally the same age erm (T T) i asked him if it was real (it is) and mystery guy that knows my name asked if it hurt ("not really"). mystery guy asked if eli did it (no idea which one) and JT said he got it in arizona. how intriguing
ally and JT were flirting SO HARD (as well as her and mystery guy) and i was like goodness gracious girl T T i was very civil tho and shared my scissors, paper, pencil, and calculator. it was nice. it probably won't occur again.
3rd was really a trainwreck (T T) we did presentations, and my group went 4th (we were group 5 i think but it was messed up or smth??). anyway we realized we had done it all wrong and not taken info from the book and just went off of google's stuff whoopsies :p WC (who apparently goes by quinn, so he is being changed to QC) did nothing (of course) and even though he was supposed to be the one that lead the dance (that WAS HIS IDEA), he just sat back and let the video play and then put it on 2x speed there for a bit?? we were losing it over the video tho bc 1. when we first clicked on the link to pull it up, he clicked on one of the recommended videos and pulled up some random video about the superbowl called like "benito vs. bad bunny" which was SO FUNNY for some reason and apparently he wanted to keep watching (according to BW), but our teacher shut it down and made us go back to the original video. 2. it was a traditional dance that NONE of us had watched through fully, so it was funnier for that reason, cuz it was new to us ig?? and there was this one move where she had like a broom or something and was holding it upright and lwk kind of twerking, and QC said "this is a twerk video" under his breath to me and MW and i almost died cuz we weren't supposed to be laughing so it wasn't offensive or like we were mocking the dance (which i completely agree with) and so trying not to laugh makes everything funnier.. it was a bit of a disaster tho because we only had 3 very bad slides (not counting the video slide, which was just a link and the header "video" - how creative) and it took like 4 minutes for us to talk through it- i made up most of the time cuz i did all this research about the marriage customs for the igbo people.
BW's was (no offense to him) pretty awful too tho- they didn't even have slides, it was just a google doc and then some ARIAL FONT of a telephone game (which was super fun) and then 6 quotes from the book trying to convey that storytelling was good and very important. goodness gracious (￣ ￣|||) the telephone game was really fun- we all had to choose a quote from the book about storytelling and stuff and I just kind of joined keira bc i didn't feel like doing all that (￣▽￣)ノ and then someone got chosen to start the telephone game and whisper his quote to the person in front of him- like storytelling and passing down stories. i though it was a great idea, but it kind of gives the wrong message, that stories are fuddled and lose their meaning over time?? i was in between keira and MW (MW tried to open up a spot between her and QC but like NO thank you). SH was the one that got chosen to start and his quote was something about like turtles and men or something?? but once it got to me (after ONLY 4 PEOPLE), MW leaned over and told me "something something the turtle doing something to the man something something the dog" or smth along those lines and I was like HUH but it went around the circle and came out the other side as just "hasshshahahshhash"
4th block was super fun though bc VV and SA and I got to talk a lot and we talked about our worst hair phases (for SA, she had ribcage-long BRIGHT TEAL hair with thick bangs across her forehead, and for VV it was her pixie cut with a side sweep or her mohawk) and other things, such as SA's admirer sebastian (who's in that class!!) and we listened to the mini manie song (which was lwk buns) and SA and VV danced to it which was really cute (i must have looked like a loser cuz I just sat there and smiled). i had to work with these two guys for these little game things and i don't think either one of them enjoyed my company. sebastian was the 2nd guy, and the nicer of the two, but the first one, luke, was NOT happy that he had to work with me (when we got our partners he smiled at me, then was sullen??) and even when i tried to make conversation, he was very dry. like he was editing this picture of a football helmet on a field and i was like "ooh are you in yearbook?" and he was just like "no." okay then damn (T T)
anyway i tried to convice SA and VV to listen to euphories by videoclub and then VV and i walked down to the 2nd floor and i told her about my 10 page hate note for EW (_ _)' she told me about her beef with EH. it was actually pretty funny. they're friends now though so i guess they made up
anyway when we were walking down i saw tippy, who joined us walking down, and BW who i waved to and he joined us at the bottom of the stairs kind of commons area. so it was me, VV, BW, and tippy. quite the fun group. we talked for a bit and me and VV agreed that BW was a dry texter, and then i told VV the reason BW and I weren't friends for awhile (that he was a dry texter- but the main reason is probably the bizarre things he said about that sex ed video and the "soldier standing at attention" incident.. (o-o) and also pressures from my friends). then tippy, BW, and I walked back up to french club.
in there, we made valentines for old people and ate these wafer cookie things, kettle cooked chips, and capri suns. it was really fun, and BW and tippy were slightly more civil than usual (there were still some incidents though, such as BW throwing a chip bag at tippy VERY aggressively and tippy chucking it back at him). I also talked to BW about his valentine (VV <3) and his plans for the ice skating date this saturday, and then we talked about what kind of valentine he should make for her. this took up most of the time, and by the time me and him left (last ones), the valentine only had "happy valentines day! i've really enjoyed getting to know you! i love your humor, your personality, your passion for dinosaurs, and your smile. :)" he's really giddy it's so cute. i asked him if he had been kicking his feet and he was like oh yes. they'll be SO CUTE TOGETHER AWW > <
unfortunately me and BW were talking and he randomly mentioned that apparently VV doesn't really like me talking about me and stelly??? which is like. so dumb. I think she thinks there's something between us, but I see him more as a brother, and i wish she wouldn't think that!! i want to be friends with both of them; i don't want this to tear us apart. :( i really hope we can resolve it but she STILL hasn't told me about him asking her out and now i think it's cuz of that. :(( it makes me genuinely so sad like nooo i promise nothing is going on between us (T T)
anyway me and BW took some pictures and mom let us have another capri sun which was nice and i showed stelly the photos and she said we looked like "cute little dogs." how wonderous
also, i think me and tippy are gonna start sitting with RT, KD, EC, and MS in the mornings!! i'm really excited hehe (^ ^) we sat with them today and had a wonderful conversation about movies- KD, RT, and I talked about ALL ABOUT LILY CHOU CHOU, which was a crazy pull from KD bc WHAT :D i've literally never met another person in real life that's seen it. it was great though i love that group sm and it'll be better than sitting in the literal FRONT OF THE GYM in front of everybody and around EW, AX, and MC. yikes.
anywaysss that's pretty much all that happened today! one thing i didn't mention is JJ made me a valentine and left it on my desk in french club but i FLIPPING LEFT IT IN THE ROOM so i didn't get to read it. i did see the word "marry" in it and ik it ends with "thank you for being you"?? idk i'm excited to read it tomorrow :)
